Why Akwatix Exists

AKWATIX · NORD SAUVAGE

Built from a life on the water.

Akwatix is an independent Quebec fishing and outdoor brand created for people who plan their days around the water.

Akwatix began with early launches, cold mornings, long days and the moments that make us want to return to the water again and again.

Fishing is where our story starts, but it has never been only about the catch. It is about freedom, patience, connection to nature and the people beside us. We make clothing that belongs in that life.

Made for the first cast.
Built for everything after.

Made to perform

Protection, breathability and dependable comfort for long hours outside. Every performance piece starts with a real need on the water.

Made to keep wearing

Akwatix blends outdoor function with an understated everyday style—gear that feels right in the boat, at camp or back in town.

What matters

The water comes first.

The lakes, rivers and small streams we enjoy are living ecosystems. Anglers have a responsibility to respect them, protect them and leave them better than we found them.

We also believe public access to the water matters. These places shape our traditions, our communities and the way many families experience the outdoors.

Lakes and rivers should remain accessible to everyone.

Growing with intention

We are still a young brand, and we do not pretend to have everything figured out. We make deliberate production decisions, work with thoughtful quantities and use on-demand manufacturing where it makes sense to reduce unnecessary overproduction.

As Akwatix grows, our commitment to quality, responsible choices and the waterways behind this brand will grow with it.

Guillaume, founder of Akwatix

“I started Akwatix to create the kind of gear I wanted to wear—and to build a brand that stands for the water, not just beside it.”
